Work performed by CODE in support of this project included:
Preparation of pre-work submittals including project plans and schedules and obtaining required construction permits.
Site preparation including installation of required support facilities, provision of necessary utilities, and installation of proper erosion and sediment controls.
Deployment and maintenance of a turbidity curtain.
Repair of a deteriorated bulkhead associated with the building.
Capping the existing site sediment/fill with concrete.
Installation of a 360' wall of sheet piling to a depth of 40 feet.
Installation of an armoring system in a segment of the Rahway River located adjacent to the building. The multi-layer armoring system incorporated a geotextile layer, 3' of sand, a second geotextile layer, and 3' of riprap.
Provision of as-built surveys.
