KEY PROJECT EXPERIENCE:

  • Directed hundreds of groundwater and soil investigation, remedial design, and remedial action projects at sites throughout CODE's service region.
  • Managed the development and implementation of a NJDEP-approved Site Investigation Workplan (SIW) and Remedial Action Workplan (RAW) at an industrial site in Woodbridge, NJ. Implemented the RAW which involved securing a Freshwater Wetlands Statewide Permit and excavating and disposing of 1,300 tons of sulfur-contaminated soils.
  • Developed and implemented a sampling and analysis program to address suspect PHC, VOC, and arsenic contamination at a 13-acre site in Piscataway, NJ. Developed and submitted a report of findings and cleanup plan to NJDEP for approval pursuant to ECRA/ISRA.
  • Personally responsible for directing a "cradle to the grave" environmental assessment/remediation project at an industrial site in Scranton, PA.
  • Prepared NJDEP Closure Plan Application Documents and directed UST closure operations on three Rutgers University campuses. Compiled and submitted a UST Site Assessment Summary Report to NJDEP.
  • Prepared a RAW to delineate the extent of impacted soil at a former dump site suspected of receiving MGP contaminated soils from local utilities. CODE removed ~23,000 tons of coal-tar impacted soil and restored the site pursuant to the approved RAW.
  • Oversaw UST closure and contaminated soil excavation operations at a former car dealership site in Readington Twp., NJ. Conducted a Preliminary Assessment pursuant to ISRA following remediation and secured a NFA Determination.
  • Administered CODE's "Indefinite Quantity Pre-Placed Free Floating Remedial Action Contract" with the NYC Transit Authority. Oversaw the installation, testing, and O&M of free phase product recovery systems consisting of GW extraction wells and treatment facilities.
  • Designed/implemented a soil, ballast and concrete sampling program at NYC's Grand Central Terminal.
  • Managed a $1 million, multi-year, multi-site contract with a Fortune 500 company at locations in TX, DE, MD, PA, CA, and NJ. Conducted site investigation and facility audits, UST testing and closure, and soil and GW assessments. Developed tank inventories and remedial action plans.
  • Managed a series of environmental audits for a medical systems company at sites in CA, TX, KS, MD, PA, and NJ. The audits and site investigations served as a key element in the evaluation of over $25 million of targeted real estate acquisitions and transfers.
