Since 1995, CODE has performed over $30 million of remedial work at Cytec facilities in NJ, CT, OH, PA, and WV (UST/AST closure, full and partial facility decon/demo, contaminated soil remediation, landfill closure, site capping, etc.). In 1996/1997, CODE sucessfully constructed a DDT sediment cap for Cytec in the Rahway River (the only project of this type ever undertaken in New Jersey).
  • Provided corporate oversight on an ~$16.5 million soil and GW remediation project at a former copper products refinery located along Newtown Creek in Maspeth, NY. Key work elements included removal and off-site T&D impacted soils; bulkhead repair; installation of sheet piling and an armoring system; and construction of a barrier wall/GW collection and treatment system.

  • Oversaw the removal of contaminated stone and soil from a rail yard located 70 feet below a NYC street.
  • Directed a $1.6 million remediation project at the College Towers Site in a densely populated residential area in Jersey City, NJ. Project involved excavation and off-site T&D of ~14,000 cy of chromium contaminated soils from various areas within the occupied residential building complex.
